The move is closer (less than a week now)…and we are crazily sorting and packing stuff…..I shall not be having access to the internet until we get home. So that means no posts till a week or so. Will miss reading your great blogs …..Hope to catch you soon….Till then Take care…Have fun :)

            Its summer time In India….that translates to sweltering and scorching days….meanwhile yesterday evening Varun paid an impromptu yet pleasant visit… I love it when he drops by unplanned and on the spur of the moment…Jingalala !
       So we quickly dashed off to Coffee day…for a steaming cuppa…I cozyly sipped my Grandlatte while he was pitter-pattering……sheer delight…these little but hugely gratifying moments are what I yearn for ….bring me immense joy….and maketh my life…..

Had you been watching advertisements in television offlate you will rightaway relate to this….

     Men’s grooming products are the new fancy these days…there are quite a many ads in the TV about  men’s deo’s, fairness creams (????), innergarments,perfumes,aftershaves etc
      But all these ads look similar and project the same concept…if you use their product women will immediately and magically go to bed with you…yeah, thats as disgusting as it gets…
    There is serious dearth of creativity and originality in the concepts…and they are all downright lousy and cheap…show both men and women in poor light…
     Come on, dont these huge organisations realise this …..they churn out massive wampum to big ad-houses to sire such third-rate advertisements….  Which man worth his salt would use deo’s, perfumes, mobiles,clothes only so that he can bring women to bed…or which women worth her salt would bed a man just for these…..even more gross are the inner wear and fairness cream ads….inner garments have a purpose..one doesn’t wear them (usually) to impress women…well, I haven’t met any of such types till date……and if they are targeting teenagers….teenagers today are much smarter and sharp-witted to fall for such fallacies….
          And coming to fairness creams its a story in itself……the ads ( 4-5 major brands but same concept) show a dull and tired looking guy who has very low self-confidence (in talking to girls and the girls avoid him and mock at him because of his skin color) and then is introduced to this wonderful magic potion (sometimes endorsed by the (”badshaah-shahrukh Khan“) which instantly transforms him into a fair, bright and confident guy where all the girls around are dying to get his attention……but wait, from all my mills and boon readups (teenage years) men were always tall, dark and handsome…so when did the equation change to ” Fair = Handsome and smart”……..
    Phew, when will we outgrow our love for white skin…..its high-time we move on from a white loving nation to a people loving nation…life will be much better for all of us…..

                As days roll by we are left with a week to go in Vizag….The impending move is coming closer….we will be packing our bags and be in Hyderabad by the 2nd week of June….and are eagerly looking forward for it…Its just close to 6 months here for me…S lived a little longer though…I joined him after our wedding…..
            Everytime I moved away from a city or place that I lived something from the city always comes with me and stays with me forever….its always a learning experience….there are positives and negatives…but I feel every city has its own charm and character…..so before we move on….we’d sure miss…..

# Vyayaam (Aerobics studio) the first and foremost….we had an awesome time working out and made a bunch of great friends also including the trainer/owner…..

# The beaches ( obviously) - its home to the longest coastline in India…long streches of virgin beaches…where we spent many many evenings just whiling away time..

# The breathtaking view of coconut, mango and banana trees from our windows and balconies which are gently dancing and sometimes rapidly swaying to the breeze.

# I’d sure miss Prapancha- my favorite store here which is owned be our dear friend A.

# Freshmade yoghurt from Visakha Dairy which is available at every nook and corner…

# Easy mobility : everything is just within a 5km radius and with a non-existent traffic problem its quite easy to zip through.

# Our first own home setup after marriage.

# The luxury of having a dhobi who comes home and does laundry every alternate day..

# The farmer’s market (rhythu bazaar) which is at a  stone’s throw distance from our home…

# The innumerable tendercoconut vendors….
